Anne Marie Wong, MD
Dr. Wong obtained her Medical Degree at Creighton University School of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine.
Dr. Wong has been practicing Internal Medicine in Grays Harbor since 1996 and Wound Care at the Hyperbaric and Advanced Wound Healing Center since it’s opening in 2009. She has been the Medical Director of Primary Care at Harbor Regional Health since 2013 and began serving as Chief Medical Officer in July of 2016.
What Dr. Wong enjoys most is having a positive impact on her patients, her family, her colleagues, the patients of her colleagues, and the community. She believes she can accomplish this by continuing her practice in Internal Medicine as well as inspiring those around her to be the best that they can be.
Aside from her medical background, Dr. Wong is married to an orthopedic surgeon and has four daughters ranging in age from 28 to 18 years, as well as 2 granddaughters. She has extensive leadership education including Washington State Medical Association Physician Administrator Dyad Leadership Training, Medical Management Certificate Program from the University of Washington, and multiple certifications in Quality, Measurement, and Financial services.
Dr. Wong is a lifelong learner and takes every opportunity to enhance her skills for the benefit of those around her. Her community has been positively influenced by her involvement as Co-Founder and Member of the Grays Harbor Blackwell Society, Clinical Preceptor of Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine, chair of various school and community fundraising activities, and Administrative Official for the Swim team that all 4 of her daughters competed on for many years.
